We have another couple welcoming their first child together. Katherine Schwarzenegger has given birth to her first child with Chris Pratt.
The new mom’s brother, Patrick Schwarzenegger confirmed the news in a video obtained by an entertainment portal. Patrick said both of them are doing great and he is about to grab a gift. He showed a gift package with a pink ribbon. It wasn’t clear if it was for Katherine or the baby.
Patrick did not mention when the new born arrived but Chris’s car was spotted outside at St. John’s Hospital in Santa Monica, California, on Friday afternoon. Katherine’s parents and siblings were spotted visiting the couple in their house.
A delivery van was also spotted delivering flowers to Chris’s house on Saturday. Chris shares a seven-year-old with ex-wife and actress, Anna Faris.
Chris and Katherine got married last year in June in California. In April, a source told ET that the couple was expecting their first child together. A source had revealed at the time that the couple is very happy for their first child together.
The source added, “The couple knew going into their relationship that having kids together was important to them, so when they found out the news, they were extremely happy. Although Katherine was busy promoting her book at the beginning of her pregnancy, she now has time to be at home and get things ready for when the new addition arrives. Chris is so excited.”
Katherine has been giving us a sneak peek at her baby bump while going out for a stroll. A source also had informed that the baby is coming soon as they celebrate their first wedding anniversary. They also said that Chris and Katherine had a great first year of marriage. The couple was planning to celebrate their anniversary with something small as they were waiting for the arrival of their baby.
Katherine’s father, Arnold, also expressed his excitement when he made an appearance in The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon. He said, “Think about this for a second… there’s three gene pools that you can do,” he pointed out. “There’s Kennedy, there’s Schwarzenegger, and Pratt. We can do anything. We can go and solve the Cuban missile crisis… We can go and train dinosaurs. I mean, think about it!”
