Producer Sajid Nadiadwala, this Wednesday has announced that Kartik Aaryan is going to be taking part as the male lead in his upcoming film titled Satyanarayan Ki Katha.
Branded as a “soulful musical love saga”, Satyanarayan Ki Katha is being directed by national award winning director Sameer Vidwans who is best known for the finest 2019 Marathi drama Anandi Gopal.
‘Ultimate Love Story’
Sajid Nadiadwala, whose brand Nadiadwala Grandson Entertainment has partnered with Namah Pictures to do the project described the film as an “ultimate love story”.
“Satyanarayan Ki Katha has been a project for me. Nadiadwala Grandson Entertainment are excited to work with Namah Pictures, national award winning director Sameer Vidwans and Kartik Aaryan who is very talented in this regard.
“This will be our first time working with Kartik and he is bringing new energy to the project altogether. Satyanarayan Ki Katha makes for a script that calls for this perfect union and we are looking forward to bringing this ultimate love story to the audience,” Nadiadwala said in a statement.
Powerhouse Of Talents
Satyanarayan Ki Katha will also mark Vidwans’ debut into Bollywood as a director. Aaryan said he could not ask for a better collaboration for the upcoming film Satananarayan Ki Katha that combines “powerhouse” of talent from different fields.
“It’s also a first for me with Sameer Vidwans sir who has an astute sense of making sensitive topics highly entertaining. Honestly, I feel immense pressure and responsibility, since I am the only member in this team without a National award,” the 30-year-old actor, known for films such Pyaar Ka Punchnama movies, Sonu Ke Titu Ki Sweety and Luka Chuppi, said.
Shareen Mantri Kedia of Namah said the film was “a unique love story.”
Namah’s Kishor Arora said the team members were beyond happy to bring the film to the audience.
The film will be released at the end of the year.
With the exception of Satyanarayan Ki Katha, Aaryan will next appear in the Netflix movie Dhamaka and in the horror comedy Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2.
