Kartik Aaryan’s 3D-action film with Tanhaji director shelved?

Bollywood actor Kartik Aryan was supposed to do a 3-D action film with Tanhaji director Om Raut but it has been reportedly shelved!

The outbreak of coronavirus has spoilt plans of almost the entire world. With shoots cancelled and releases delayed, the entertainment industry is suffering a lot. Amid all this, reportedly Kartik Aaryan’s film with Tanhaji director Om Raut has also been shelved.

The film was supposed to be a 3-D action drama, with visuals from locations around the world. But owing to the current situation, that does not seem to be possible anytime soon.

BollywoodLife quotes a report saying, “We are doing it (film) later. It is on hold because the film involves a lot of foreign shoots and we can’t shoot abroad. The team was to shoot in Hong Kong but it can’t happen due to coronavirus. We are figuring out what to do. There were other places also. It is a cutting edge action film.”

Staring Ajay Devgn, Kajol and Saif Ali Khan, Tanhaji: The Unsung Warrior was a massive success at the box office. The film had grossed over Rs 350 crore worldwide. Raut had got much appreciation as a director as it was his directorial debut.

The report added on saying, “They both (Kartik Aaryan and Om) are committed to the film. They want to make a film. The team will have to change the script because it is not possible (to shoot in Hong Kong).”

Meanwhile on the professional front, Kartik Aaryan is a part of Dostana 2 along with Janhvi Kapoor and the new face Lakshya Lalwani. Produced by Karan Johar, the film will be directed by debutant filmmaker Collin D’Cunha. The actor is also the lead in Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2.
