Bollywood actor Kartik Aaryan has reportedly called off his multi-crore deal with a Chinese brand owing to the tension between India and China!
After 20 Indian soldiers were martyred in an attack by the Chinese troops, the nation has been on a spree to boycott all Chinese products. Seems like the Bollywood actor Kartik Aaryan is in full support of the same. He has reportedly called off his multi-crore endoresement deal with a Chinese brand.
Kartik has been endorsing the phone brand Oppo. However, his latest post on social media sees him holding an iPhone instead of the brand he promotes. The people have been quick to guess that he has decided to cut ties with the brand.
A source told a portal, “Kartik Aaryan has become the first celebrity to cut ties with a Chinese brand. The actor won’t be endorsing it anymore but is yet to make an announcement.”
However, nothing has been made official from his side yet.
The Federation of Western India Cine Employees (FWICE) too had requested all the stars to stop endorsing any of the products coming from China. Their statement read, “We request all not to endorse any Chinese brand in the wake of the ongoing tension between the two countries. It is an issue of a serious concern and we should all give utter priority to the safety and security of our Nation. For us the “Nation comes First”. Hence, we appeal all to kindly refrain from promoting any Chinese products or related brands.”
Meanwhile, Kartik Aaryan is living with his family in Mumbai amid this lockdown. Since the life is getting back to normal and the production houses are resuming shoots, we might get to see him on a set soon. He has films like Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2 and Dostana 2 in the pipeline.
