Kareena Kapoor And Karishma Kapoor’s Tough Childhood – Did You Know

Kareena Kapoor Khan and her sister Karisma Kapoor were only raised by their mother Babita Kapoor.

In an interview in 2007, Kareena said that she and Karishma seldom met with their father Randhir Kapoor as a child and did not receive any financial assistance from the family of the Kapoors.

Mother Single-Handedly Raised The Children

Randhir and Babita married on November 6, 1971 after the release of their debut film Kal Aaj Aur Kal. In 1988, Randhir Kapoor moved out of his home to live with his parents.

Speaking to Mumbai Mirror about their financial situation, Kareena Kapoor had okcr said om record that, “Mum was always doing something, she single-handedly brought us up. She has a real estate business apart from other small businesses. It was tough. Though my father is also an important factor in my life.”

Asked if they will receive any financial support from the family, Kapoor, Kareena said: “We were left alone to fend for ourselves. But for now, we see them more than that we used to in our early childhood days. We are now a family.”

Family Life

Although, Randhir and Babita were separated for a few years, they never divorced.

He recently said that he was going to sell his ancestral home in Chembur district of Mumbai, in order to move more nearby to his wife Babita and daughters Kareena and Karishma.

Kareena’s Marriage

Kareena married Saif Ali Khan. They also have a four-year-old son named Taimur Ali Khan, and a younger son, who was born in February, in the year 2021. His name has not yet been revealed.

Kareena will next be seen on the big screen in Laal Singh Chaddha where Amir Khan will also be seen in the leading role. Directed by Advait Chandan of Secret Superstar fame, the film is a remake of the Hollywood film Forrest Gump. It will release in theatres this Christmas.
