Jungkook Reclaims Title as Male K-Pop Soloist with Highest Monthly Listeners on Spotify, Even Without New Releases

Jungkook, the youngest member of BTS, has once again proven his popularity and influence as a solo artist by reclaiming the title of the male K-Pop soloist with the highest number of monthly listeners on Spotify. According to the latest update on April 6, Jungkook has 12.5 million monthly listeners on the streaming platform, surpassing his bandmate Jimin who has 12.3 million.

This is a remarkable achievement considering that Jungkook has not released any new music this year. The last time he released a song was in November 2022 when he dropped Dreamers, which was part of the soundtrack for the Qatar FIFA World Cup. Besides that, Jungkook has two other songs on his Spotify profile which he released in 2022. Left and Right was a collaboration single with American singer Charlie Puth, while he released Stay Alive as the original soundtrack for 7Fates:Chakho, a collaborative webtoon created by Hybe and Naver Webtoon. With only three releases, Jungkook ranked as the most-streamed K-Pop solo artist of 2022.

Jungkook’s success is not limited to the music industry either. In March 2023, he was announced as the new global brand ambassador for Calvin Klein, which generated a lot of buzz on social media. Fans were eagerly anticipating the release of his debut solo album, which he has been working on in Los Angeles, where he was also spotted attending Coachella.

Jungkook is undoubtedly one of the most talented and versatile artists in the industry today. He can sing, dance, produce, write, and play various instruments. He is also known for his charismatic stage presence, his charming personality, and his handsome visuals. He has won numerous awards and accolades for his solo work, both domestically and internationally.

As Jungkook continues to dominate the music industry and capture the hearts of fans around the world, there is no doubt that he will continue to break records and achieve even greater success in the years to come.
