Jungkook of BTS Ranked As The #1 Fastest Growing Artist On Spotify, Above Bad Bunny, Taylor Swift, & Billie Eilish

Jungkook, from the world’s biggest group BTS, has had an amazing year as a musician. The singer was part of not one but three successful songs – “Stay Alive”, “Left and Right”, and “Dreamers”.

“Stay Alive” is a song recorded by the artist as the original music for Hybe and Naver Webtoon’s joint webtoon 7Fates: Chakho. Jungkook also collaborated with American artist Charlie Puth on the song “Left & Right.” More recently, the Korean singer contributed to the FIFA World Cup 2022 soundtrack and released the accompanying single “Dreamers.” All of these songs broke records as the highest-debuting songs by a Korean soloist on the Spotify Global chart.

Jungkook became the most streamed K-Pop soloist of the year as a result of the immense success and popularity of all three of these songs.

Not only that but Jungkook is also (so far) the most-followed K-Pop soloist on Spotify. And according to new information provided by Visual Capitalist, the 25-year-old singer is also the fastest-growing artist on the music streaming platform.

The news agency has shared an infographic that shows a list of the “Fastest Growing Followings” on Spotify. Jungkook is the number one artist on the list, followed by Bad Bunny, Taylor Swift, his own group BTS, and Billie Eilish.

In addition to the above-mentioned songs, Jungkook has also released three solo tracks as part of BTS discography: “Begin” in 2016, “Euphoria” in 2018, and “My Time” in 2020, all of which have charted on South Korea’s Gaon Digital Chart.

The singer recently made fans proud as he earned “The Collaboration of 2022” award at People’s Choice Awards, becoming the first K-Pop soloist to win a PCA. Even though Jungkook has witnessed great success as a soloist, the vocalist hasn’t yet made his official solo debut yet. He is expected to release his first solo studio album early next year.
