Jungkook of BTS Named As The Greatest Korean Male Singer of All Time By Rolling Stone

2022 was a great year for the “Golden Maknae” of BTS, who was part of three successful songs as a solo artist and ended the year as the most successful K-Pop soloist. The new year has also begun with amazing news for fans.

In their latest ranking of the “The 200 Greatest Singers of All Time”, Rolling Stone has ranked Jeon Jungkook as the #191 greatest singer of all time. Jungkook is the only Korean male artist in the list. The only other Korean in the list is IU aka Lee Ji-eun.

Jungkook is expected to make his solo debut this year. Last year, the “Euphoria” vocalist was part of three songs as a solo artist – Stay Alive, Left and Right, and Dreamers.

“Stay Alive” was a song recorded by the artist as the original music for Hybe and Naver Webtoon’s joint webtoon 7Fates: Chakho. Jungkook also collaborated with American artist Charlie Puth on the song “Left & Right.” More recently, the Korean singer contributed to the FIFA World Cup 2022 soundtrack and released the accompanying single “Dreamers.”

All of these songs broke records as the highest-debuting songs by a Korean soloist on the Spotify Global chart.

Recently, “Euphoria” By Jungkook Of BTS Surpassed “SOLO” By Jennie Of BLACKPINK To Become The Most Streamed Solo Song By A Korean Act.
