Jungkook, of BTS is the first Asian artist to break this record on Spotify

With 5,73,410 followers in the first 24 hours, BTS’ Jungkook became the only Asian act to have the most followers on Spotify. With just one hit, ‘Stay Alive,’ he garnered over 1 million monthly listeners in one day. The webtoon and web novel ‘7FATES: CHAKHO’ OST Stay Alive (Prod. SUGA of BTS), sung by BTS’ Jungkook and produced by Suga, was previously released through music sites and platforms all over the world.

‘Stay Alive’ showed overwhelming musical strength by occupying the #1 spot on the worldwide music platform iTunes’ Worldwide iTunes Song Chart for ‘5 days in a row (as of February 15). Jungkook has set a new record by becoming the first Korean idol solo artist to top the iTunes Worldwide Song Chart for 5 days.

From the 11th through the 14th, ‘Stay Alive’ led the Worldwide and European iTunes Song Charts simultaneously for ‘4 days in a row.’ On the 14th, ‘Stay Alive’ topped the iTunes Top Songs Chart in the Gambia. ‘Stay Alive,’ in particular, showed great force or become the ‘shortest’ solo song ever to reach number one on the iTunes Top Song charts in 104 countries just 3 days and 8 hours after its release.

Previously, ‘Stay Alive’ topped the iTunes Top Song Charts in 100 countries in 45 hours, the quickest time in iTunes history for a solo song, 90 countries in 13 hours, and 87 countries in 10 hours and 24 minutes. The OST sound source, it revealed the final version of the powerful player.

From the 11th to the 16th, ‘Stay Alive’ led the US iTunes Top Songs Chart for ‘6 days in a row’ (Korean time). ‘Stay Alive,’ on the other hand, with Jungkook’s appealing, mild emotional vocals and delicate expressive strength, leaves a deep impression on the characters and stories forced into a harsh fate.
