His three new songs, Stay Alive, Left & Right With Charlie Puth, and Dreamers have been a huge hit with fans and music lovers around the world. Stay Alive, which was released in February 2022, broke several records within hours of its release. “Stay Alive” by Jungkook made its debut on several music charts, including South Korea’s Gaon Digital Chart and the K-pop Hot 100. It entered the Gaon Digital Chart at number 80, and the following week peaked at number 68. In Japan, the single debuted at number one on the Oricon Daily Digital Single chart and remained in the top five for several days. It also debuted at number three on the Weekly Digital Single chart. On the Billboard Japan Hot 100, it entered at number 44, while on the U.S. Billboard Hot 100, it marked Jungkook’s first solo entry and debuted at number 95. During its first week, the song garnered 2.9 million cumulative streams and sold 14,900 downloads.
Left & Right With Charlie Puth, which was released in June 2022, was another instant hit. “Left and Right,” a collaborative single by Charlie Puth and Jungkook, debuted at number 22 on the Billboard Hot 100 chart, making it the highest new entry for the week post-dated July 9, 2022. It also topped the Digital Song Sales chart during its release week and remained on the chart for 17 consecutive weeks. The Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA) awarded the song a Gold certification in November 2022, recognizing its sales of over 500,000 in the United States. On the global stage, “Left and Right” earned Puth and Jungkook their first top-10 entries on the Billboard Global 200 chart by accumulating 76.5 million streams. It debuted at number five on the chart and entered the Global Excl. US chart at number two. This was Puth’s first top-10 entry in territories outside of the United States and Jungkook’s second after “Stay Alive.”
