Julia Roberts celebrates 18 years of marriage with hubby Daniel Moder
Julia Roberts took to Instagram to mark 18 years of marriage with husband, Danny Moder. The Pretty Woman actress tenderly smooched her husband on the cheek in a rare couples snap. “✨18 years✨” she wrote alongside the photo, adding the hashtag #heckyes.

Julia and Daniel prefer a private family life
Roberts, 52, and Moder, 51, first met on the set of their 2000 film, The Mexican, where Moder worked as a cameraman. Two years later, the couple married each other on July 4, 2002 at their ranch in New Mexico.

The pair have three kids together. 15-year-old twins Hazel and Phinnaeus and 13-year-old son Henry. Julia usually refrains from posting photos of her family and is known to maintain quite a private life. However every once in a while, the duo will update fans with photos commemorating special occasions.
Moder, who is also quite private on social media platforms, posted an even rarer pic of the full family together this past Mother’s Day. He captioned the wholesome pic, “That pretty mama in the middle. We love you so much.”

Julia’s anniversary comes just days after the news of her niece and fellow actress, Emma Roberts expecting her first child.

“He is just my favorite human”
Despite being one of the biggest names in Hollywood, Julia makes sure to keep her family life mostly behind closed doors. Back in 2017, the Notting Hill star revealed in an interview that she found her fairy tale ending with Moder. “I mean, every day my husband walks in the door it’s like a recurring dream,” she said. “I’m like, ‘Ah, he’s back!”
In 2018, Julia Roberts was on an episode of pal Gwyneth Paltrow’s Goop podcast. The actress admitted that meeting Moder changed her life.
“I think that first kind of real ‘seismic shift’ was meeting Danny, getting married to Danny,” Roberts said. “That was the first, like, my life will never be the same in the most incredible, indescribable way. He truly, to this day, to this minute, is just my favorite human. I’m more interested in what he has to say or his point of view just more than anybody. Really, we’re so lucky in that way. We just really, really like each other and we just enjoy each other’s company.”

Julia Roberts upcoming projects include starring and producing the movie, Little Bee, which is adapted from Chris Cleave’s novel of the same name. The movie is about a young Nigerian refugee and Julia will portray the role of a British magazine editor.
