Johnny Gargano

Johnny Gargano Has Named His Dream Match With WWE Main Roster Star

Johnny Gargano won his 1st fight since returning to WWE this week during WWE Raw, defeating Chad Gable. Nevertheless, since his come back to the main roster, fans have already been buzzing about the other encounters he could potentially have, with various fantasy scenarios being created by the WWE Universe. While every fan has an opinion, Gargano stated that a fight against Rey Mysterio could be a dream come true.

My match with Rey Mysterio is one of the underrated ones that doesn’t get enough attention; it’s a dream match for me. He is basically the trend setter for dudes like me, he has indeed been incredibly great for many, numerous years. He is the GOAT for a purpose, & I absolutely can not wait to get in the ring with Rey, told Gargano. I was using to make little paper machete Rey Mysterio masks when he was a cruiserweight in WCW, so getting the opportunity to be in the ring with him could be a dream come true.

Gargano is currently involved in a plotline with his former stablemate Austin Theory. Whereas Mysterio is engaged in a plotline with The Judgment Day following his son’s turn against him and Edge at WWE’s Clash At The Castle. However, because the two men are part of the same roster. An interaction between them is almost certainly a possibility in the future.

Gargano praised Chad Gable’s performance

On the August 22 episode of Raw, Johnny Gargano decided to make his WWE debut. He stepped away from the ring to spend time with the family, former NXT celebrity Candice LeRae, and their infant son Quill. His final game before returning was on December 5, 2021. Gargano’s 1st match back was against Chad Gable on the September 12 episode of Raw. Gargano eventually won the match, but while speaking on WWE Deutschland, Gargano praised Gable.

Gargano praised Chad Gable’s performance. Chad Gable is one of the world’s most underappreciated actors, and I’ll go on record saying so. Chad Gable is an incredible talent who is vastly underappreciated. After being in NXT since 2014, Gable made his main roster debut on SmackDown in 2016. Gable was an achieved amateur wrestler who contested in the 2012 London Olympics before becoming a WWE Superstar.

The former NXT Champion also discussed what it was like to come back to the squared circle after an absence of 281 days. I felt fantastic. Obviously, it felt great to be back, to hear the crowd again, to be myself again. But it’s an excellent first step, but the task is far from done, and I’m far from completion, and I think things will improve and better each time.
