Johnny Depp Performs in Helsinki with Jeff Beck, after Trial Win

Hollywood star, Johnny Depp performed in Helsinki along with musician Jeff Beck. The actor performed weeks after winning the defamation trial against his former wife Amber Heard. As per the reports it is said that the actor has moved on after the trial, and it is also said that the actor is now looking forward to return and continue his work. The actor won the defamation trial against his former wife Amber Heard during the earlier of this month.

While the actor performed in Helsinki, he smiled and was in a very cheerful mood as he greeted his fans. While in one of the videos, it was seen that Depp was nodding his head and mouthing something as he looked at someone. While in one of the clips it was seen that he had kept his hand on the chest for a brief moment.

Furthermore a source reported about the current situation of Johnny and said, “The trial was necessary, but he is happy that it’s over. Although he is relieved about the jury’s verdict, he isn’t gloating about it. He isn’t even talking about the trial now. The source further went on saying, He filed the lawsuit, because he considered it necessary. He has moved on though. He is now able to get back to what he loves doing. He enjoys performing and has a busy summer ahead. 

The Jury had Awarded Johnny $15 million in Damages

The actor is now looking forward to work and he loves filming. He wants his career back. After the recent six week trial that took place in Fairfax County, Virginia, a seven-person jury reached a verdict on June 1. The jury decided that, Johnny, proved that Amber defamed him in the 2018 op-ed. He has maintained that he never assaulted Amber and claimed she physically harmed him. Moreover, the jury had awarded Johnny $15 million in damages, which was later refused to $10.35million due to a Virginia law limiting punitive damages. Whereas, talking about Heard in her countersuit, Amber won one of the three defamation counts and was awarded $2 million in damages. She now has to pay Johnny $8.35 million.
