JK makes history on iTunes by breaking into Billboard’s Hot100 & The Global Excl. U.S. top 10 lists

An OST has never had as much hype surrounding it as this one! BTS’s record-breaking streak continues with the release of ‘Stay Alive,’ the latest single by a member of the group to rank on the famous Billboard charts. ‘Stay Alive’ debuted at No. 95 on Billboard’s Hot100 list on February 22 local time, with a release date of February 26.

The Global Excl. U.S. top 10 charts, which was issued on February 19, revealed another major achievement for Jungkook, who was ranked No.8. Following J-Hope, SUGA, and V, he is now the fourth member of BTS to have a solo entry on the Hot100 chart for their work. Furthermore, it is only the second Korean soloist’s OST to chart on the Billboard Hot100, following fellow BTS member V’s ‘Christmas Tree,’ which debuted at No. 79.

Jungkook, on the other hand, has become the first and only artist in the world to top the iTunes charts in 106 countries with two solo tracks. ‘Stay Alive’ reached the No. 1 spot on the 106 iTunes Top Songs rankings in just 11 days after its debut, making it the fastest solo track to do so.

Notably, SUGA has been listed as a lyricist on BTS tracks, a collaborator on ‘Girl Of My Dreams’ with JUICE WRLD, and a producer on ‘Stay Alive.’

‘Stay Alive,’ which was released on February 11, has smashed world records and has proved to be another major hit in BTS’ career.
