Jimmy Fallon To Make Twitch Debut With Among Us Stream

Jimmy Fallon will make his Twitch streaming debut on April 6th at 3.45 pm PT/ 6.45 pm ET. The host of The Tonight Show and a few celebrity guests will be playing Among Us on The Tonight Show’s official Twitch channel. The host will be joining the members of The Roots Questlove, Tariq Trotter, and Kirk Douglas. They will be playing Among Us with Stranger Things stars Noah Schnapp and Gaten Matarazzo.

There will also be the community director of Among Us, Victoria Tran, and streamers Corpse Husband, Sykkuno, and Valkyrae. The group is said to play the new Airship map in Among Us which was released on March 31. This stream will be premiering on Jimmy’s Twitch channel and some parts of the show will air next week on The Tonight Show.

The stream will also mark as a first for both The Tonight Show and Jimmy. Twitch is growing to become the live streaming platform of choice for celebrities and is looking to reach a huge number of audiences or branch off into video game content. Politicians like Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez streamed Among Us on Twitch previously as part of an attempt to raise awareness about voting.

Even though it is Jimmy’s first stream on Twitch, he is no stranger to video games. Back in 2016, Jimmy had debuted one of the first looks at the Nintendo Switch on The Tonight Show. That has now produced a very famous Shigeru Miyamoto gif reaction. As part of his debut on Twitch, Jimmy will be receiving contributions to Feeding America. It is a nonprofit network of food banks battling hunger.

Jimmy has previously aired such similar video segments on The Tonight Show. His segment prolonging Twitch demonstrates the mainstream popularity of the live streaming platform. Amazon bought Twitch back in 2014 for $970 million and competitors like YouTube and Facebook are both angling to shift for more video game live streaming on their individual platforms.
