Jennifer Lopez New Cambia El Paso Song Is All About ‘Not Being Afraid’ Of Changes

Jennifer Lopez shared some exciting thoughts on her new song ‘Cambia El Paso’ in a recent interview.

Jennifer Lopez has revealed the influences behind her new song, “Cambia El Paso”.

JoLo, 51, has teamed up with Puerto Rican singer Rauw Alejandro to release a new song, translated as “Change the Step,” which will be released on July 5.

What Did She Say?

In an interview on July 1, J.Lo said the ballad is about “not being afraid” to take action in life after witnessing changes.

“The song is about change and not being afraid to take the step,” J.Lo said. “Like, just take the step, advance — do what you need to do. If something’s not feeling right, whatever it is in your life, just make that move and dance.” J.Lo added, For me, because I started as a dancer, dance is life and joy and happiness.”

Breakup With Alex Rodriguez

It’s been a year of changes for Jennifer. In April, Jennifer and her boyfriend Alex Rodriguez announced their decision to end their engagement after four years together.

The two said they seem “better as friends and are eager to stay that way” in a joint statement. “We will continue to work together and support each other in our partner business ventures,” the statement read.

Prior to the split, Jo and A-Rod were scheduled for a 2020 wedding, but as like everything else, the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic caused delays.

Rekindled Romance With Ben Affleck

A month later, J.Lo rekindled her love affair with ex-Ben Affleck, whom she dated between 2002 and 2004 after meeting during their 2003 film set Gigli.

The two spent some time together in Montana in May, ushering in the revival of Bennifer 2.0 and proving that there is never a dull moment in Hollywood.
