Jennifer Aniston Is Still Dressed in Friends Clothes and Shoes
In an interview with James Corden, Jennifer Aniston admitted that she still wears clothes and shoes from the set of Friends. Throughout the decade in which she co-starred on the NBC comedy Rachel, where her character merged trendy late-90s things with classic pieces, Aniston was praised for her fashion sense. Friends fashion was well-known, from the clothes to the haircut Aniston wore, lovingly dubbed “The Rachel” by fans who wanted the long shag for themselves.
Rachel Costume
After hitching a ride on a golf cart with the late-night host on the Warner Bros. studio backlot while filming the Friends reunion special for HBO Max, the cast joined James Corden for “Carpool Karaoke.” The gang fled to the sound stage after singing the series theme tune “I’ll Be There for You,” where they took the “Best Friends Test,” which revealed that Aniston removed the most items off the set of all the cast members.
Even to this day, the actress admits that she still wears the shoes and clothing she stole! Aniston also confessed that she didn’t just steal from Rachel’s clothes rack, but also from Monica’s. She said, “I still wear them.” “I’d walk into Monica’s section – she always had the loveliest dresses — and grab her [clothing].”
The “Best Friends Test” also found that Kudrow was the cast member who laughed the most out of character. “I’m the absolute worst. I lack discipline and training “She confessed. LeBlanc, on the other hand, thought the award was split between Kudrow and Aniston. Rachel would cover her face with both hands to cover up the fact that Jennifer was laughing, according to him.
FRIENDS Fashion
Friendship fashion is still going strong today, with late-90s and early-2000s trends making a comeback on department store racks. Aniston’s impact to the decade’s style when Friends was on the air cannot be questioned. Viewers still covet the trendy dress she wore in reruns because of their admiration for the informal yet chic looks she wore.
