Jennie Mentors BABYMONSTER For First Episode Of ‘Last Evaluation’

The first episode of Last Evaluation, a new web series that will determine the makeup of the future female group BABYMONSTER, has been released by YG Entertainment. The series, presented by YG Entertainment founder Yang Hyun-suk, will include a variety of mentors and judges who will assist in evaluating the trainees and determining which members will reach the final roster.

In the first episode, Yang explains why he wants to further analyze the trainees by dividing them into two groups. The first group, comprised of Ahyeon, Ruka, and Pharita, is joined by Korean-American producer Choice37 in the studio to work on their version of Rosé’s solo single ‘Gone’. BLACKPINK member Jennie later joins the group to advise them as they prepare their performance.

Jennie gives advice on how to approach stage performances, explaining that rather than focusing on what may go wrong, she considers how she can surprise the audience. She also muses on BLACKPINK’s success, claiming that it was due to a mixture of their distinct abilities and personalities, not only because they were the best singers or dancers.

The next episode’s trailer shows all seven BABYMONSTER members on stage, getting ready to be judged by Yang and AKMU vocalist Lee Su-hyun. Yang told the trainees earlier this week that BABYMONSTER “will never be a seven-member group,” but he did not say how many members would make the final roster.

Last Evaluation gives viewers a behind-the-scenes peek at the grueling training procedure that trainees must go through in order to become K-pop stars. The series also sheds light on the significance of collaboration and the role that individual abilities and personalities play in forming a successful group.

Fans can expect more spectacular performances and crucial lessons from the mentors and judges of Last Evaluation as they continue to evaluate the trainees and determine the future of BABYMONSTER in the next episode, which will be published on March 17.
