Javed Akhtar, Raveena Tandon criticize the decision of re-opening paan and liquor shops in Lockdown 3.0

Bollywood stars Javed Akhtar and Raveena Tandon has put forth their views about government’s decision of re-opening paan and liquor shops!

It was yesterday when the Indian government extended the lockdown in the country. But this time some freedom has been given to people in certain areas. One of the most shocking announcements was to let the paan and liquor shops re-open. Bollywood stars Javed Akhtar and Raveena Tandon have reacted on government’s decision.

Ranveerna took to Twitter saying, “Yaaay for paan/gutka shops! Excellent, the spitting starts again! Wonderful!!”

On the other hand, Mr Akhtar explained why he does not like the step. “Opening liquor shops during the lock down will only bring disastrous results . In any case according to all the surveys nowadays domestic Violence has increased to a large extent .liquor will make these days even more dangerous of for women and children,” he wrote.

The country has been divided in green, orange and red zones. And selective areas have got certain freedom on the basis of positive cases in that zone. People are hoping for some positive news after lockdown 3.0 gets over.
