Jake Paul has been one of the brightest talents in the world of influencer boxing. He is currently 5-0 as a professional boxer and was also named as the richest YouTuber of 2021, as per Forbes.
After defeating Tyron Woodley via knockout in December 2021, Jake Paul has been eyeing his next opponent. According to latest reports, the YouTuber-turned Professional boxer is set to fight boxing veteran Mike Tyson in Las Vegas, in 2022.
However, no official announcement has been made so far but sources claim that both the fighters have verbally agreed to the fight. The mega-boxing event will have $50 million on the line.
Happy Punch Promo reported on Twitter that “Mike and Jake are on board for an exhibition bout in Las Vegas.”
Comments under the latest Jake Paul Vs Mike Tyson announcement aren’t really impressed though.
One user wrote “Not a fan of this fight, if jake wins people just going to say he beat an old man. Also what would the hype look like?” while another said “I don’t want to see it, but money is money and it speaks louder than everything else”.
Jake Paul Vs Canelo Alvarez Rumors
Jake Paul, meanwhile, has sent out a cryptic tweet reacting to the announcement that boxing purists are not going to like Canelo’s next boxing opponent.
Taking to his Twitter handle, Jake Paul tweeted cold/chilled emojis to the news. While a lot of people suspect that the YouTuber is teasing a show down with Canelo, others think that he is just trolling, as usual.
In the past, Canelo Alvarez has commented on a potential fight with Jake Paul.
When Canelo was asked about whether he would consider fighting Jake Paul by a paparazzi, he said “Not right now.”
Whoever is Jake Paul’s next opponent, one thing is certain: The YouTuber-cum-Boxer is going to put on a show worthy of watching!
