Jake Paul Says He Will Not Give Tommy Fury Another Chance To Fight Him In 2022

Jake Paul Vs Tommy Fury had been catching immense traction since the first match of Jake Paul Vs Tyron Woodley. During that event, Tommy Fury was on the undercard fight.

And after that, Tommy Fury levelled up the ladder to sign the dotted line for a fight with YouTuber-turned Professional Boxer Jake Paul on the 18th of December. But just yesterday, as the fight was closer than ever, Tommy Fury backed off from fighting Jake Paul citing ‘medical injuries’.

Tommy Fury Backs Out

Tommy Fury’s team informed Jake Paul that he would not be fighting Jake on 18th December. Guess what happened then? Tyron Woodley took the place of Fury and will not be facing Jake Paul in the ring on 18th December for their long awaited rematch.

The PaulWoodley 2 is going ahead on the scheduled date. However, upon being asked the question whether Jake would give another chance to Tommy Fury to fight him next year, Jake Paul was completely against the idea.

What Did Jake Paul Say?

“I question everything about that family. He has never accomplished anything himself. The only reason he is anything is because of his brother,” Jake said, also adding that all of Tommy’s prior opponents were “just meant to lose.”

“I don’t like them. I don’t like anything to do with the family. They are sketchy, they are shady,” he added. “I don’t see any reason to come back next year and give him a payday.”

The upcoming Jake Paul Vs Tyron Woodley is going to be crucial for Jake as the last time he was accused of adding a ‘no-knockout’ clause in Woodley’s contract. This time around, Jake Paul seeks to fix this and shall ‘leave no doubt’.

“No matter what you’re doing, boxing, football, being the president. I’m squashing the rumours right now.

“I’m giving Tyron Woodley an extra $500,000 if he can knock me out.”
