Danny DeVito is a well-known actor, producer, and director who has worked in both film and television. In the movies he acts in, DeVito is frequently seen playing evil or weird characters. In the films ‘Batman Returns,’ ‘Space Jam,’ and ‘Mars Attacks!,’ he played the Penguin; a gambler in ‘Space Jam,’ a talent agent in ‘Death to Smoochy,’ and a businessman in ‘Ruthless People.’ ‘What’s the Worst That Could Happen?’, ‘Matilda,’ and ‘Other People’s Money’ all included DeVito.
DeVito worked as a professional hairstylist before embarking on his now-famous career in front of the camera. Following his graduation in 1962, he worked as a cosmetician in a beauty shop before enrolling in the American Academy of Dramatic Arts in New York to further his education in the field. He fell in love with acting here!
In 2011, he was also honoured with a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame at 6906 Hollywood Boulevard. Charlie Day as Charlie Kelly, Glenn Howerton as Dennis Reynolds, Rob McElhenney as Mac, and Kaitlin Olson as Dee Reynolds round out the group.
