Is BLACKPINK finally making a comeback in July?

It’s been almost 600 days since the biggest girl group on the planet, BLACKPINK released new music as a group and BLINKS are furious, to say the least.

The much-awaited BLACKPINK comeback is real, as has been confirmed by members Jisoo and Jennie multiple times. Both the members, as well as the member LISA, have been dropping cb hints since February of 2022, regularly asking fans to just wait a little more as we are working on new music and the comeback is “coming soon”. Fans, on the other hand, are not sure what to make of this “coming soon” as they have been waiting for new music for almost 2 years now. In these almost two years of time, two members of the group LISA and ROSÉ made successful solo debuts, but besides a leaked Ready For Love snippet, there hasn’t been any kind of new music from the group.

BLACKPINK COMEBACK RUMORS

Even though there’s still no official word from YG Entertainment, there’s a new article from a Korean media agency called JTBC News that has gotten fans excited. The report states that BLACKPINK will be making a comeback in the third quarter of 2022 and is expected to continue activities and embark on a tour in the fourth quarter of the year.

In light of the standard five-week pre-order period for an album release, BLACKPINK is expected to make a comeback in July at the earliest. However, this is not the first time a researcher/analyst’s report has hinted at BLACKPINK comeback, so this news isn’t fully reliable.

After Treasure, BigBang, and iKON, Winner and BLACKPINK are next in line for a comeback at YG. Fans believe that it will be the boygroup WINNER that gets the next comeback slot instead of BLACKPINK, as WINNER members confirmed a may comeback earlier. Even without a comeback in almost 2 years, BLACKPINK is still breaking new records every other day and the new comeback this year is expected to take their popularity to next heights.
