Vivo’s sub-brand iQoo is working on its new series iQoo 5 Series. The iQOO 5 Series will be the first smartphone in the world to come with 120 Watt fast charging support. This technology will give the phone a full charge in 15 minutes. The 120W fast charging is the latest charging technology that iQoo unveiled in July. According to a report revealed, iQoo 5 series will launch in China on August 17 at 12 noon Indian time. However, no official announcement has been made yet regarding the launch of iQoo 5 in India and other countries. The company gave information about the launch date and timing of the phone by releasing a poster.
The Company shared a poster on China’s micro blogging site Weibo and 120 have been highlighted in it. According to the shared poster, iQOO 5 series will be launched in China on August 17 at 2:30 pm. This highlights indicates that the phone will come with a 120 watt charging support which will charge the phone in 15 minutes. The phone has a 4000mAh battery. However, officially the company has not revealed the specifications of its upcoming smartphone.
The company has also not yet confirmed how many phone can company launch with iQOO 5 smartphones coming on August 17. According to a report by Digital Chat Station, a cheaper phone can also come in this series. While the second phone will be a high-end device that will support 120 W charging. It has expected that the phone shown at the China Tech show may be the iQOO 5 Pro. The phone was well covered in a case, so not much was known about the design of its back panel.
Apart from this, some reports have informed that the iQoo 5 will have an AMOLED screen. This screen comes with Always On Display feature. It has a refresh rate of 120Hz. For performance, It will offered on Snapdragon 865 processor and may have LPDDR5 RAM available. For batterybackup, The phone has a 4000mAh battery with 120W fast charging support. This means that it will charge the phone in 15 minutes.
