Rachi: Actress Ushna Shah while talking about the unfair attitude prevailing in Pakistan showbiz industry has said that actresses in our industry get paid less than actors.
In a recent interview, Ushna shah said that there are less heroes in the Pakistan showbiz industry as more girls than boys come to this field. However, the work of male actors is less than that of actresses. For example, if a girl has 400 scenes in a play, then a boy will have 300 scenes in comparison.
In fact, the story of the play revolves around a woman, so there is more work for a girl in a play, but still male actors are paid more than actresses and this is very unfair.
Ushna Shah said that actresses come to the set quickly, work harder, actresses cry the most in drama and it is not easy.
Regarding the difficulties faced by women working in the field of showbiz, Ushna Shah said that girls who do not belong to the showbiz industry, when they enter this field, they face more difficulties than all these girls. There are those who belong to the showbiz family. Many girls are even exploited.
Giving her example, actress Ushna Shah said that many members of her family were already in showbiz so she did not have much difficulty in making a place in this field so she considers herself lucky.

Ushna Shah is a Pakistani actress who works in Urdu cinema and television. She is the daughter of actress Ismat Tahira and sister of Irsa Ghazal, After making her acting debut in the 2013 romance Mere Khwabon Ka Diya, Shah had her first critical success with the 2014 thriller Bashar Momin.

Ushna Shah made her debut on the big screen with Jawad Bashir’s Teri Meri Love Story in which she played the leading character of Esha and later starred in the first online Pakistani comedy film Oye Kuch Kar Guzar by D-juice Pakistan. She also appeared as a guest in the film,

Shah was born in Lahore and raised in Canada. She is the daughter of veteran TV and radio artist Ismat Tahira, the sister of Shah Sharabeel, an acclaimed theatre director, and the stepsister of Irsa Ghazal, also an actress,
Career:
She began her career with character roles, including the serial Bashar Momin in 2014, the drama serial Duaa (2015) in which she played the title character, and Alif Allah Aur Insaan (2017) in the role of a beggar turned courtesan.
She was cast in Jawad Bashir’s Teri Meri Love Story in which she played the leading character Eesha, but the film was halted post production and the official release never happened. She also starred in the first online Pakistani comedy film Oye Kuch Kar Guzar by D-juice Pakistan. She also appeared as a guest in the film Punjab Nahi Jaungi.
She has been the brand ambassador for the fashion label Nickie Nina, and has done campaigns for various lawn brands such as Jahanara.
In June 2017 she wrote on Facebook criticising what she said was the trend of various talk shows using Ramadan to cash in on television rating points.
