Keanu Reeves, who is gearing up for the premiere of his upcoming film ‘The Matrix Resurrections,’ has spoken about reuniting with actress Carrie-Ann Moss for the sequel.
“It’s such a great and wonderful experience to work with Carrie-Anne and really to pair up, to be that type of single aspect, but the duality of the characters being this one thing in their love,” Reeves said.
“It’s a lot of fun to play the connection between Thomas Anderson and Trinity, and she’s an incredible artist with a good heart. It was a true joy to collaborate with you once more.”
He remarked of emerging talent like Jessica Henwick, Yahya Abdul-Mateen II, Neil Patrick Harris, and Jonathan Groff, ” “It was wonderful just to be working with artists who were so excited about the project, and then to work with them and witness their extraordinary, talented dedication. It’s a great pleasure to work with you.”
‘The Matrix Resurrections,’ directed by Lana Wachowski, is a science fiction action film. It is the fourth part of the ‘The Matrix’ film series and the sequel to ‘The Matrix Revolutions (2003).
Keanu Reeves, Carrie-Anne Moss, Lambert Wilson, and Jada Pinkett Smith all return from previous films in the franchise.
What did Reeves think of this modern interpretation of the classic trilogy?
“It was a lovely script, in my view. I thought it was a lovely love tale, and I felt it was up-to-date and relevant medicine for the times we live in.”
“I felt that ‘Resurrections’ was embracing and speaking to where we are today and hopefully will be as motivating as ‘The Matrix,’ ‘Reloaded,’ and ‘Revolutions,’ which all had a cautionary tale and kind of inspiring messages.”
