Hunger Games Prequel Added Jason Schwartzman To Its Cast

Hunger Games one of the people’s fan-favorite franchise adds a new member to its prequel film.

That member is none other than Jason Schwartzman who will be a part of the new prequel, Hunger Games: The Ballad of Songbirds and Snakes. You may have seen him in various different films like The Darjeeling Limited, Scott Pilgrim vs The World, The Grand Budapest Hotel, Fantastic Mr. Fox, Moonrise Kingdom, and so on.

He would be playing the role of Lucretius “Lucky” Flickerman in the 10th Hunger Games. Lucretius Flickerman is the host of the prequel of the 10th hunger games. In the three trilogies of Hunger Games, Caesar Flickerman played by Stanley Tucci was the host of the show. Lucky will be his ancestor as the movie takes place years before Katniss Everdeen won the Hunger Games.

The director of the film will be Francis Lawrence has also directed Mockingjay Part 1 & 2 and Catching fire. The trilogy of Hunger games featured Jennifer Lawrence, Liam Hemsworth, Josh Hutcherson, Woody Harelson, Stanley Tucci, Sam Clafin, Donald Sutherland, Willow Shields, Elizabeth Banks, and many more were based on the previous novel by Suzanne Collins.

Currently, the star-studded cast of the Hunger Games prequel is Rachel Zigler (Lucy Gray Baird), Tom Blyth (young President Snow), Josh Andrés Rivera (Sejanus Plinth), Hunter Schafer (Tigris Snow), Jerome Lance (Marcus), Ashley Liao (Climensia Dovecote), Knox Gibson (Bobbin tribute from district 8), Mackenzie Lansing (Tribute from district 4) and Aamer Husain (Felix Ravinstill).

About Hunger Games: The Ballad of Songbirds and Snakes

The film will be based on the latest novel by Suzanne Collins. This time the Hunger games will take place 60 years before the trilogy that we saw. The story’s main focus will be “Coriolanus Snow” and will explore his story of how he became a ruthless dictator over the years. It will show the young Snow who will be chosen to mentor the district 12 female tribute named “Lucy Gray Baird” for the upcoming Hunger Games.

We will see how Snow evolved as a person & how he has become so cruel over the years and the story behind it.
