Hulu Releases Official Stills From The Handmaid’s Tale Season 5, Confirms Release Date

The Handmaid’s Tale is back with another season, also the first look stills from the series have made the fans even more excited.

Today, which is June 14th, 2022, Hulu dropped a glimpse of season 5 of the show and also released the date the show will be streaming. Along with all this, we also get a sneak peek of what will happen in season 5.

Before we proceed further let’s have a quick recap of what happened in the last season. In season 4 we got to see June (Elisabeth Moss) along with other women she kills his former handmaid. The drama ends with a blood stain on her face as she cradles her baby, also she puts her former abuser (Fred Waterford) of her hanging on the wall.

The new season brings new drama, Hulu today released a gist of what to expect in season 5 of the show, the synopsis said, ” June faces consequences for killing Commander Waterford while struggling to redefine her identity and purpose. The widowed Serena attempts to raise her profile in Toronto as Gilead’s influence creeps into Canada. Commander Lawrence works with Aunt Lydia as he tries to reform Gilead and rise in power. June, Luke, and Moira fight Gilead from a distance as they continue their mission to save and reunite with Hannah.”

The handmaid’s tale will be released on September 14, 2022. It will release 2 episodes on the 14th and the rest of them every Wednesday.

These were the two photos released by Hulu today.

The first photo depicts June (Elisabeth Moss) staring at the screen with an angry and unhappy look on her face which refers to her ready the fight after the death of her former abuser.

The second photo is of Serena (Yvonne Strahovski)  a widow now because of the death of her husband Fred Waterford. She is wearing a mourning dress with a veil staring at something, (can be her husband’s graveyard) and smiling a little. She doesn’t look sad at all, but evil.

The Handmaid’s Tale season 5 will be streaming on Hulu on September 14.
