Heroes In Eclipso’s Diamond: Stargirl Season 2 Poster

The CW has released a new Stargirl season 2 poster, which depicts the title heroine and her Justice Society of America in the diamond of Eclipso. Geoff Johns created the series, which is based on the DC Comics character of the same name created by Johns and Lee Moder.

Courtney Whitmore, a high school student, discovers the Cosmic Staff of Starman a decade after he and almost all of the original Justice Society of America were murdered by the Injustice Society of America. With the help of her stepfather/former Starman sidekick Pat Dugan, Stargirl must build a new squad of heroes.

Stargirl

Stargirl premiered on DC Universe, with the first season additionally airing on The CW. After DC Universe was reorganized to become only a digital comics service, it was renewed for a second season as a CW-only series and was renewed for a second season as a CW-only series.

Stargirl was picked up for season 3 three months ahead of its imminent return by the CW, which happened a little more than halfway through season 1 airing on the network. Season 2 of The CW is set to launch in just over a month, and The CW is ramping up anticipation for the next chapter in the story.

New Poster

The new Stargirl season 2 poster features all of the titular heroine’s friends and enemies. With everyone contained in the villain’s diamond, it also teases the impact of Eclipso.

In season 2, Eclipso will not be the only villain Stargirl and her squad will face, as The Shade returns to take down the JSA after he and the ISA did so a decade ago. Whitmore and her crew will put up a hard battle to keep the world safe, especially now that Alan Scott’s daughter Jade has joined the Stargirl scene to continue on her father’s role of Green Lantern. Season 2 of Stargirl will launch on The CW on August 10.
