Actress Sonam Kapoor is celebrating her second marriage anniversary today with husband Anand Ahuja!
It has been two years of wedded bliss for the lovely couple Sonam Kapoor and Anand Ahuja. The two of them had tied the knot on May 8th, 2018. They are currently quarantining in their Delhi residence. However, that didn’t stop from the actress getting a lovely present on the special day.
Anand has gifted a Nintendo Switch with Sonam’s favourite games on it. Sharing a video of the same, the actress wrote on her story, “@anandahuja knows me too well… Love you so much.” She can even be heard excitedly saying “This is my anniversary present” in the video.
Talking about their wedding, it was a traditional ceremony where Sonam and Anand had got married in an Anand Karaj. The ceremony was followed by a reception which was attended by most of the Bollywood celebs.
Earlier recalling her first meeting with Anand, Sonam had told Filmfare how she was supposed to meet his friend. It was during the promotions of her film Prem Ratan Dhan Payo.
“Sometimes, people believe that when they have similar interests, they can be together. No one would think of Anand and me together because Anand is totally different. He had no idea that Anil Kapoor was my father. I ended up speaking to Anand the whole evening. Anand was trying to get me to talk to his friend…like being the middle man. But we ended up talking more,” Sonam had said.
