Here’s how Shah Rukh Khan has once again contributed in the fight against COVID-19

Bollywood actor Shah Rukh Khan had earlier donated to several relief fund and had offered his office to be used as quarantine facility!

King Khan Shah Rukh Khan had won hearts by contributing in the relied funds working in this situation of crisis. The actor has yet again contributed and is trying to do his bit in fighting this global pandemic. SRK has donated 25,000 PPE kits to Maharashtra government.

Rajesh Tope, minister of public health and family welfare, government of Maharashtra, thanked Shah Rukh as he tweeted, “Many thanks Mr. Shah Rukh Khan for your kind contribution of 25,000 PPE kits. This will go a long way in supporting our fight against COVID19 & protecting our frontline medical care team @iamsrk @MeerFoundation @CMOMaharashtra.”

As humble as SRK is, he replied saying, “Thank you sir for all your help to source the kits. We are all together in this endeavour to protect ourselves and humanity. Glad to be of service. May your family & team be safe and healthy.”

For those who don’t know, the actor had earlier donated to PM-Cares Fund and Maharashtra CM Fund. He had also made contributions to Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) for Healthcare Providers, Ek Saath – The Earth foundation, Roti foundation and Working People’s Charter. Also, his NGO Meer Foundation had donated to Support for Acid Attack survivors. Not just this, he had even offered his 4-storey office space for quarantine facility.
