Here’s how Kriti Sanon reacts to fans calling her Mimi look ‘Chubby Sanon’

Actress Kriti Sanon had gained around 15 kilos for her role of a surrogate mother in the upcoming film Mimi!

Actress Kriti Sanon is known for her slim and slender look. However, she had to give up that avatar and gain 15 kilos for her upcoming film Mimi. While she looked all chubby and cute, her fans have started calling her Chubby Sanon.

In a recent interview with Bollywod Hungama, she said, “I have gotten this comment a lot. It’s really funny that my fans have started calling me chubby Sanon. It’s too funny and it’s really cute and I like the nickname also.”

When asked about her task of gaining weight, she revealed how tt was something that her whole team thought she won’t be able to do. Because her body type is such that her metabolism is high.

“Initial target was 10 kilos and when I gained about 7, they realised that I am tall and it doesn’t show as much. That’s when my director Laxman sir told me that I think you will have to gain weight to 15 for it to show on your face and on the screen,” she added further.

The actress had earlier talked about her experience of working in the film. She had praised the script and called it a beautiful film to work on. Mimi will re-unite the jodi of Kriti Sanon with Laxman Utekar who had earlier directed Luka Chuppi.
