Actor Henry Cavill has revealed he will not return as Superman. The actor has previously announced his return to playing the hero in a short video.

His cameo as Superman in Black Adam further increased fans’ curiosity as they wondered if he is back for good. However, he recently announced his departure from playing the character and fans are naturally upset.

A user expressed that his cameo in Black Adam did not go anywhere. Many fans have taken to Twitter to express their disappointment with the announcement. Fans are extremely upset that the actor will not be seen reprising his role.

As per reports, the new Superman movie will be looking back at the hero’s early days. This means a different actor can play the character and James Gunn will be writing the script for the same. Henry recently revealed his meeting with James and Peter Safran. He then announced he will not be Superman anymore.

Further, the actor consoled fans that he will still be around and “everything he stands for still exists, and the examples he sets for us are still there!”
