HBO’s “The Idol” New Set Photos Featuring The Weeknd & Lily-Rose Depp

It’s already been a month since we last got to see “The Idol” teaser and it’s not yet confirmed when the series is finally going to be released. Some new photos from “The Idol” sets have been posted on the official page of the series, and seems like the sizzling chemistry of The Weeknd & Lily-Rose Depp is going to rock.

HBO’s The Idol will be a six-episode series starring The Weeknd (Abel Tesfaye), Lily-Rose Depp, Blackpink’s Jennie, Debbie Ryan, Troye Sivan, Steve Zissis, Elizabeth Berkley, Hari Nef, Juliebeth Gonzalez, and others.

The teaser which was released previously didn’t give out much about the series in terms of its story and plot. Other than being excited for Lily-Rose Depp & Weeknd, fans are also looking forward to seeing Blackpink Jennie’s acting in the series.

Her role might be of a dancer, according to the teaser. She was also featured in 2-3 scenes of the first look where she was seen doing dance rehearsals and choreography.

The Idol’s official page a few days back posted this photo of Lily-Rose Depp. She is seen wearing the same swimsuit type pink costume which we saw in the teaser where she was performing her final dance rehearsals with couple of background dancers around her.


Weeknd & Lily-Rose Depp’s steamy chemistry at the club. Abel Tesfaye falls in love with Lily Rose Depp ( A rising superstar) and it commences their tangled romance.

The music industry will serve as a backdrop in the series. n the teaser, we get to see glimpses of The Weeknd & Lily-Rose Depp’s relationship, dance, money, drugs, sex, music, fun & rise to fame. It’s a teaser packed with the ups and downs of the industry and how’s it difficult to survive in it to make a name for yourself. The series is directed by Sam Levinson & is created by him, Abel Tesfaye The Weeknd, and Reza Fahim.
