Fra Fee, actor from Hawkeye in the new Disney+ series, has teased that his reshoots are wrapped. Hawkeye will be the platform’s fourth live-action Marvel series, following WandaVision, The Falcon and the Winter Soldier, and Loki. The show will follow Avenger and talented archer Clint Barton (AKA Hawkeye) and will most likely introduce a cadre of new younger heroes, including Hailee Steinfeld’s Kate Bishop, according to plot specifics.
Several MCU characters, like Black Widow’s Yelena Belova, have already been confirmed to appear in Hawkeye (Florence Pugh). There are a few new characters who will make their MCU premiere, though.
Along with Vera Farmiga as Kate’s mother, Alaqua Fox as Maya Lopez AKA Echo, and Tony Dalton as Jack Duquesne AKA Jack, the cast includes Vera Farmiga, Alaqua Fox, and Tony Dalton. Fra Fee, an Irish actor who will also be seen in the upcoming Camila Cabello musical Cinderella, will play the Swordsman.
Wrap on Hawkeye
Fra Fee announced the completion of reshoots for the series on Twitter, with the cheeky remark “& that’s (another) wrap on #hawkeye.” Now, this doesn’t necessarily indicate that reshoots for the entire show are finished, as it’s unknown whether just Fee or the entire cast has wrapped.
This does, however, indicate that the series is advancing and getting closer to completion, which is undoubtedly good news for hungry fans who want more information than the official Hawkeye countdown clock on the Marvel website can provide.
It’s unknown who Clown will be working for in this series, but Contessa Valentina, played by Julia Louis Dreyfuss, will almost certainly be engaged in some way, whether or not she appears onscreen.
It’s irritating how fuzzy any specifics are at this time, but the show is nearing the end of its run now that reshoots are wrapping. Now that the editing team has gotten into high gear, there’s a chance that a trailer may be the next thing to leak, giving fans a better idea of what they can expect from Hawkeye.
