Gwyneth Paltrow’s Take On Nepotism In Hollywood

Nepotism has always been a trending topic not just in Hollywood but also in every other industry. The celebrity kids get targeted for being spoon-fed just because they have a famous last name. Oscar Winner Gwyneth Paltrow opened up about this topic, let’s see what she has to say.

Gwyneth Paltrow is the daughter of Blythe Danner, an actress in Hollywood, and Bruce Paltrow, a film director, and producer. Of course, she too is considered to be a nepotism actress, but Gwyneth has another take on these things.

In an episode of Who’s in my Bathroom, which is a YouTube Series started by Hailey Bieber, Gwyneth Paltrow was a guest and she expressed her thoughts on Nepotism. She says, ” As the child of someone, you get to access other people don’t have, so the playing field is not level in that way.”

She further adds, ” However, I really do feel that once your foot is in the door, which you unfairly got in, then you almost have to work twice as hard and be twice as good.”

Gwyneth feels that once you get into the industry unfairly, you have to work hard to be better otherwise people will pull you down by passing comments like “You don’t belong here” and “You are only there because of your mom and your dad.”

Gwyneth continued her conversation by giving advice to all the nepotism actors, that one shouldn’t limit their dreams just because they are given this nepotism label. She further said, ” Nobody in the world, especially anyone who doesn’t know you, shouldn’t have a negative impact on your path or the decision that you make.”
