The Emmy Awards 2021 were held on September 19 in Los Angeles, and it was a star-studded affair with Elizabeth Olsen, Kaley Cuoco, Kate Winslet, and others on the red carpet. Cedric the Entertainer, who was praised by netizens for his anchoring act, was the host for the Emmys 2021.
In terms of honours, series like The Crown and Ted Lasso, among others, swept the board this year. It was a night to remember for the lead casts of the two series, with all of the major honours being handed on the actors and talent from both shows.
The Crown’s cast was seen getting ready for the celebration in London while the awards ceremony was taking place in Los Angeles. Gillian Anderson, who took home the prize for Best Supporting Actress in a Drama Series, provided a behind-the-scenes look at the festivities. Anderson took to social media to share selfies with her The Crown co-stars Olivia Colman and Emma Corrin.
Zach Braff, who posed for a shot alongside Josh O’Connor and Brett Goldstein, was another actor who turned to Instagram to share a selfie from the event.
