Former Pakistan President Gen Pervez Musharraf’s Mother Passed Away
Zareen Musharraf, the mother of former Pakistan president and chief of army staff General (r) Pervez Musharraf, passed away on Friday at the age of 102, in Dubai.
ARY News recently reported, that she spent her childhood and also received schooling from Lucknow in the early 1920’s. Begum Zareen was also a English Literature graduate from the Indraprastha College at Delhi University. After, she got married to Musharrafuddin, who was an accountant at the foreign office in the British Indian government.
It is reported that before passing away, she had earlier been hospitalized after suffering from respiratory issues.
In a recent Tweet, General Qamar Javed Bajwa, Pakistan Chief of Army Staff, expressed his heartfelt condolences on the passing of the mother of General (r) Musharraf.
Reports suggest that currently the former president Pervez Musharraf is also undergoing treatment in Dubai.
