Ronda Rousey

For Ronda Rousey’s WWE SmackDown Women’s Title, A New Top Contender Is Revealed

The new front-runner for Ronda Rousey’s WWE “SmackDown” Women’s Championship is Raquel Rodriguez. On the 12/23 “WWE SmackDown” in Chicago, Rodriguez defeated competitors like Emma, Tegan Nox, Xia Li, and Liv Morgan in a Gauntlet Match to win a future title match against Rousey. She then pinned Sonya Deville to seal the victory.

Rodriguez was crowned the winner of the Gauntlet Match, but she still had one more obstacle to overcome. Rousey approached Rodriguez as she was enjoying herself and introduced Shayna Baszler as the match’s final participant. Rodriguez’s arm, which she and Rousey had ambushed in a backstage ambush last month, was immediately ripped off by Baszler.

After giving Raquel hurt arm several vicious stomps, Baszler lifted the arm brace and posed for a few seconds, which allowed Rodriguez to take advantage of the predicament with a roll-up victory. As Bazler and Rousey brawled in the ring, a jubilant Rodriguez sprinted out. According to WWE, the Rousey vs. Rodriguez title match will take place in next week’s final “WWE SmackDown” of 2022. Other confirmed matches for the packed card involve Solo Sikoa vs. Sheamus and John Cena & Kevin Owens vs. Roman Reigns & Sami Zayn.

Mandy’s Release

Lacey Evans will also make an appearance on the program. Since defeating Shotzi at the Survivor Series last month, Rousey will defend her title for the first time in the match scheduled for next week. Ronda Rousey is still not valued by the WWE despite giving her all to the sport and switching to the villain side. WWE fans dislike all of her appearances, which has been the case for a long time. But if Rousey is anything like what we think she is, it won’t take her long to win over her detractors.

Even though Mandy’s release was just another piece of news, people are still drawing comparisons between the two champions and calling for her release. When this happened before, Rousey’s fans mobilized under the hashtag #FireRondaRousey, but she responded to that in one of her gaming videos. She mentioned how she has been tending to the wrestlers in the ring, which doesn’t make for particularly exciting wrestling. She has also acknowledged that she has put a lot of effort into bettering herself.
