Florence Pugh Urges To Stop Obsession Over Harry Styles’ Sex Scenes

The highly anticipated movie, Don’t Worry Darling will be premiering on September 23, 2022. Actors featured in the movie are one of the reasons why fans are excited about it. Harry Styles and Florence Pugh play the main leads in the movie.

Owing to Harry’s popularity, fans are digging deep into every scene in the teaser trailer. However, out of all the scenes, one clip particularly has caught fans’ attention. It was an intimate scene between Harry and Florence.

The moment was inspired by Harry’s Watermelon Sugar song and has become a subject of various fan edits. But Florence does not seem happy about the attention focused on the scene. She worries that Harry’s popularity might overshadow the work put into making the movie.

The actress expressed in an interview with Harper’s Bazaar that when it gets reduced to watching a famous man go down on someone, it is not the reason why they work as hard. She said, “When it’s reduced to your sex scenes, or to watch the most famous man in the world go down on someone, it’s not why we do it. It’s not why I’m in this industry.”

Pugh also revealed that she was initially given the role of Bunny, who is a supporting character in the movie. The role is played by Olivia Wilde now. Pugh was supposed to be working with Shia LaBeouf on Don’t Worry Darling but it was later decided that Harry would lead the role.

Shia seemingly had scheduling issues for the movie, which led the tables to turn to Harry. The actress shared that the nature of hiring the most famous pop star would lead to these conversations. However, she claimed that she is not going to be talking about it because the movie is better than that. She even added that the people who made it are bigger and better than that.

Harry’s first significant movie will be Olivia’s Dont Worry Darling. This comes after his acting debut in Dunkirk back in 2017 and his cameo in Eternals. The actor has apparently signed a five-film contract with Marvel Studios to play Thanos’ brother Eros.
