Fans Rejoice After Finally Getting A Peek At Jungkook’s Arm Tattoos

Tattoos are one of the many common things on which South Korean society has rather traditional opinions. Tattoos are not banned, but they are not widely marketed, and only licenced doctors are permitted to open parlours where civilians can get them done.

Anyone who knows Jungkook of BTS is also aware of his enduring love for his tattoos. Jeon Jungkook has emerged as one of the few kpop celebrities who has majorly influenced general perception about tattoos in the country. Jungkook’s iconic tattoos are regularly in headlines.

Jungkook stunned fans and sparked the largest ARMY inquiry in 2019 when everyone wondered if the letters writing “ARMY” and several other emblems and imagery on his body were real tattoos. (which they turned out to be). Ever since then, Jungkook’s has revealed numerous new tattoos and fans are always excited and pleasantly surprised to see them.

A clip from BTS concert from last June has recently gone viral on social media where Jungkook’s entire arm is exposure including his shoulder. Even though fans have seen Jungkook’s tattoos before, this was the first time that the whole sleeve had been revealed.

Some fans have also remarked that Jungkook has made a lot more progress since then. One in particular noticed that the enhancements to Jungkook’s sleeve tattoo since last year meant that the sleeve was now completely finished.

Jungkook’s Tattoos

In September 2019, the musician displayed his first tattoo to the public. Jungkook’s tattoo collection has been increasingly exposed since that historic day. ARMY is the most obvious tattoo on Jungkook’s hand. The A in ARMY is missing a line, resulting in an upside-down V. Fans say the name is a combination of the members’ initials and BTS’ fanbase moniker, “ARMY” (V, RM, and Yoongi). Jungkook’s right ring finger’s “J” above the “M” in ARMY supported the members’ initials assumption. They believe it is a mix of the names Jimin, J-Hope, and Jin. Jungkook has the number “0613” tattooed on his right thumb. Fans believe it relates to the day BTS debuted on June 13, 2013. Adding to the list is a tattoo of a skeleton-hand on his right arm which reportedly means ‘RATHER BE DEAD THAN COOL’.

Three striped lines can be seen on Jungkook’s right arm, which fans have linked to what appears to be the Korean flag. The observant fan also saw Jungkook’s golden-colored eye tattoo, which is located just below his elbow.
