Evil Strange Return To Terrorize The Multiverse In Doctor Strange 2 Trailer

Marvel has released the official teaser for Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness, revealing the return of Evil Doctor Strange and Mordo.

Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness is the sequel to Scott Derrickson’s Doctor Strange, which starred Benedict Cumberbatch as Stephen Strange and was released in 2016.

Since then, the character has appeared in Avengers: Infinity War, Avengers: Endgame, and Spider-Man: No Way Home. Sam Raimi is directing the sequel, which will be released in May 2022.

Doctor Strange 2 Trailer

Despite the fact that the plot of Multiverse of Madness is unknown, the MCU film was announced at San Diego Comic-Con 2019, where Marvel Studios also disclosed that Doctor Strange would be joined by Wanda Maximoff aka Scarlet Witch (Elizabeth Olsen).

The MCU’s current Sorcerer Supreme Wong (Benedict Wong), Dr. Christine Palmer (Rachel McAdams), Karl Mordo (Chiwetel Ejiofor), and newbie America Chavez have all been confirmed to participate in the film (Xochitl Gomez). The Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness trailer was initially released in connection with the release of Spider-Man: No Way Home and served as a post-credits scene for that film. However, it is currently accessible for purchase on the web.

The Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness movie teaser has been released by Marvel Studios. The clip suggests that the Multiverse of Madness would deal directly with the consequences of Doctor Strange’s spells in Spider-Man: No Way Home, particularly the one that messed with space and time and had an effect on the multiverse.

The teaser also features Scarlet Witch’s return, with Strange requesting her for help with the universe. Meanwhile, it teases the return of Mordo, who left the Masters of the Mystic Arts at the end of the previous film, and confirms the debut of Evil Strange aka Strange Supreme, who appears to be the same villain from Marvel’s animated series What If…?

Below is a trailer for Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness

It’s unclear from the trailer if Evil Strange or Mordo is the major villain of Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness. Mordo tells Stephen that “the biggest threat to our universe is you,” yet the trailer cuts to Evil Strange, implying that Mordo is referring to simply Evil Strange – possibly all incarnations of Stephen Strange throughout the multiverse.

In the film What If…? Evil Strange grew all-powerful and ended up destroying his reality in an attempt to save Christine Palmer, whose death was a predestined point in the timeline that could not be reversed.

However, he was somewhat redeemed in the finale when he helped in the multiverse’s rescue and was assigned of keeping an eye on Killmonger/Zola.
