Fans of Full House first knew Elizabeth Olsen as the little sister of TV’s favourite twins, Kate and Ashley Olsen. They had landed their breakout role as Michelle on the ABC sitcome back in 1987.
Although Elizabeth’s last name might have rung some bells for fans of the Tanner family, she has always been striving to be out on her own. In a new interview with Grazia magazine, the actress admitted that nepotism may have played a role in her Hollywood success.
She admitted that nepotism is a thing she is very aware about. The Marvel star’s mother Jarnett Olsen was a ballerina and her sisters have went ahead to launch their own fashion label The Row in 2006.
However, the actress clarified that she is not trying to take advantage of her sisters’ fame. She shared, “And of course, I’ve always wanted to do it alone.” We know it is surely working out pretty great for her considering her recent fame of her TV show, WandaVision.
Elizabeth plays the role of Wanda Maximoff a.k.a. The Scarlet Witch. The show has fans going crazy and completely hooked with shocking cameos and of course, Vision, played by Paul Bettany. Fans have not been shy to express how obsessed they are with the Disney + show.
Even though she also wanted to make it on her own, she hinted that performing runs in her blood. She explained how she was attracted to the industry from a young age. The actress shared, “I was a very hammy, performative child.” She expressed how she thinks she got to live her childhood dream doing the TV show.

“We get to see lots of colors of their relationship…”
Elizabeth had opened up about why she enjoys acting out the relationship dynamics between Wanda and Vision in particular. The Marvel star shared how she thinks audience get to see them try and be an average married couple desperately.
She added fans can also get to see them become parents and a lot of colors of their relationship. The actress shared, “And we get to see them become parents. We get to see lots of colors of their relationship from love and responsibility and respect and maybe some secrets and maybe some things that wrap up…”
Elizabeth further hinted that fans may get to see them in their first disagreement and things as such. She described how it’s a fully fleshed out relationship which is different than what fans usually saw in the Marvel films.
Paul had added, “I think Wanda and Vision connect at the right and good parts of themselves. That’s what makes them such a strong unit.” However, Elizabeth admitted to being a private person who stays away from social media. She said, “At the end of the day, what I discovered was one, I’m really bad at creating a perceived identity. I didn’t find it very organic to who I am as a person.”
