Perfect’ singer Ed Sheeran is set to perform a special musical tribute to Queen Elizabeth and her late husband Prince Philip at this year’s Platinum Jubilee. The singer will honour them on June 6, during a special celebration.
The Grammy-winning singer is planning to sing his best love song ‘Perfect’ in honour of the couple’s long-lived romance during the Jubilee occasion in London. The event will be for four days marking Queen Elizabeth II’s 70 years on the throne.
So, Ed Sheeran will be performing on the last day of the carnival. His performance will reach out to the audience through the streets of the UK capital. Also, featuring a big screen filled with images of Queen and Prince Philip. The royal couple was married to Prince Philip for 77 years. He died on April 2021, aged 99.
The special performance will also have Bollywood anthems, tributing the monarch, and re-imagining their wedding. The Jubilee Pageant is a 3-km carnival procession with a cast of thousands and will end at Buckingham Palace where there will be a rendition of the National Anthem led by a gospel choir and a military band. Starting on Thursday, June 2 with the Colour parade. The performance of Ed will mark the end of four days of celebrations taking place across the country.
