Famous singing star Ed Sheeran says he’s changed his perspective on life and work since the birth of his daughter Lyra, last year.
“Once Cherry told me that she was pregnant, my life had shifted in terms of work and health and what I was putting into my body, be it food or alcohol,” he told BBC Radio 1’s Greg James.
“I’ve been exercising more, and my routine had become a little bit healthier.”
Change In Work Routine

“It has been really weird for the producers,” Sheeran says. “I was in Los Angeles to work with some music producers who usually start at around 6 pm and end at 6 in then morning with people such as Post Malone and Dua.
“I was like, ‘Yeah, we’re starting at nine’. And they were like, ‘What?’
“But I do find you get more done. There’s less faffing.”
‘Completely In Love’
Sheeran and wife Cherry Seaborn announced the birth of their first child, Lyra Antarctica Seaborn Sheeran in August and informed the fans that they were completely in love.

‘Learning From Day-To-Day’
“It was great, but now it’s just an eternal gratitude and respect for the knowledge of what they went through because now I am going through it.
“And also, the other thing is, no-one knows what they’re doing. I see people and I’m like, ‘Oh my God, that guy’s the best dad in the world’. But he started off like me, like not knowing anything.
“I am learn from day-to-day. So, I think it’s great,” says Ed.
