Oricon revealed its weekly Streaming Chart for January 3, 2022, on December 29. The tracking period lasted from December 20 through December 26. BTS’ pop disco hit single ‘Dynamite‘ is one of the tracks that reached the most recent list.
With 3.95 million streams acquired over the tracking period, ‘Dynamite’ was rated 16th in the most recent weekly rankings. BTS’ debut English language track now has 500 million cumulative streams due to these new streams. BTS’ ‘Dynamite,’ which premiered on Oricon’s Weekly Streaming Chart in 2018, is just the second tune to reach half a billion views, following Yoasabi’s ‘Yoru ni Kakeru.’ BTS is the first all-male artist, first K-pop idol group, and first global act to achieve this feat.
Meanwhile, Ashley Park, who plays Mindy in the drama and is known for her role in ‘Emily in Paris,’ reacted to BTS members RM and V showering her with love and support for her special performance of the septet’s pop-disco smash single ‘Dynamite.’ For those who are unaware, Ashley Park performed ‘Dynamite‘ in front of a live audience at the premiere episode of the new season! Ashley Park submitted a quick essay thanking BTS for their acknowledgment and stating that it means a lot to her and the team of ‘Emily in Paris.’
