Doja Cat’s ‘Planet Her’ Hits 5th On the Billboard Pop Airplay Chart

Doja Cat has accomplished a lot in her brief career as an artist. This week, “Get Into It (Yuh)” climbed the Billboard Pop Airplay chart from No. 7 to No. 5, becoming her seventh tune from her June 2021 album Planet Her to do so. The album is currently among a very select group as it is only the seventh to have at least five top ten hits.

This information was released just over a week after it was claimed that the 26-year-old had obtained 22 new RIAA certifications for her albums Planet Her, Hot Pink from 2019, and Amala from 2018.

More About Doja Cat

With 14 Platinum singles, the second-most for a female rapper ever and just below Cardi B’s 17, she can now stand beside rap legend Nicki Minaj. Out of the aforementioned 22 new certifications, “Kiss Me More” with SZA’s assistance is now four times Platinum, while “Say So” is now five times Platinum.

These accomplishments confirm that, despite earlier controversies, the “Juicy” artist can overcome anything with dedication and quality music. Doja Cat will miss her next gigs due to tonsil surgery, so fans will have to wait to rejoice with her, but this just gives her more time to accomplish more goals before she returns to the stage tormenting audiences.
