Singer Doja Cat has canceled all the festivities and the scheduled festival appearances. Doja is recovering, but she must drop out of all of her upcoming scheduled shows. The “Kiss me more”, singer took to her Twitter account and posted that she had undergone a surgery to remove an abscess which was from her left tonsil.
The singer even recounted and in her posts she mentioned that how, her tonsils were infected before this year’s Billboard Music Awards event. After that something went vey wrong after that. The singer began by saying in her first post, “My whole throat is f—ed so i might have some bad news for yall coming soon.” The singer continued saying in her second post, “I was taking f—in’ antibiotics but forgot that i was taking them and then i drank wine and was vaping all day long and then i started getting a nasty-ass growth on my tonsil so they had to do surgery on it today.”
However, the 26-year-old singer has also insisted that and went on to mention that, she felt alright as she shared the graphic details of the surgery. The “Say so”, singer went on to share her experience by saying, “I cried and it hurt a lot but im ok.”
The singer also responded to a fan who asked her if she planned to continue smoking, the rapper replied that she was now trying to cut of with that habit for her good. Doja added, “Im quitting the vape for a while and hopefully i dont crave it anymore after that.”
Doja Cat also reveals she would again need another operation
The singer also mentioned in her Twitter account on Friday that she would again need another operation and she will be unable to perform at the upcoming shows. The Singer wrote in her tweet, “Hi guys. I wanted you to hear it from me first. Unfortunately, I have to have surgery on my tonsils ASAP. The surgery is routine but the recovery is going to take a while due to swelling. That means I have to cancel my festival run this summer as well as The Weeknd tour,” she explained. “I feel horrible about this but can’t wait for this to heal and get back to making music and create an experience for y’all.”
In this year’s Billboard Music Awards event the singer took home four awards for top R&B album, top R&B artist, top R&B female artist, and top viral song.
