Dexter Season 9 Teaser Trailer Hints Killer’s Estranged Son’s Return

The return of the serial killer’s son Harrison is hinted at in a new teaser for Showtime’s impending Dexter comeback. Dexter’s storey of a forensic specialist with a major secret surprised and delighted audiences for its first eight seasons. Michael C. Hall’s portrayal of Dexter Morgan received a lot of praise, and the early seasons’ popularity led to a lot of disappointment when the show ended. The season finale of Dexter remains one of the most controversial in recent memory, with Dexter faking his death, abandoning his young kid, and life as a lumberjack.

Finally, Dexter has an opportunity to make up for what happened at the end of season 8. Showtime confirmed last autumn that the series would be revived for a 10-episode run. Hall has returned as Dexter, while Clyde Phillips, the original showrunner, has returned for the first time since departing after season 4. Hall is the only original cast member returning thus far, but he’ll be joined by exciting newcomers like Clancy Brown and Jamie Chung.

The most recent teaser for the Dexter return teases yet another huge return. An unidentified person tosses a photograph of Dexter and his son Harrison into a campfire in a brief video shared on social media, as if destroying any evidence of the former’s old existence. “Do you want to know a little secret? Daddy is a serial killer “It’s an alarming post, as the caption reads. Indeed, happy Father’s Day.

Of course, this isn’t a guarantee that Harrison will appear in season 9 of Dexter. Fans would most certainly want to see him to see whether his connection with Dexter could be resolved, but with the titular killer in a new place with a new identity, there may not be room for a Harrison return.

Dexter is set to premiere on Showtime in the fall, so further information concerning Harrison’s return could surface in the following months. Fans will just have to keep their eyes open for more information on this dark story’s latest phase.
