Denver Nuggets Steal One Game From The Warriors’ ‘Laxed’ Defense

Falling 0-3 in a series is a situation teams do not want to be in. No team in the NBA has ever come back from a 0-3 deficit. The Denver Nuggets are in that place and they will be trying to create NBA history against a Warriors team who are on a mission of their own.

The Denver Nuggets went with their starting lineup of Monte Morris, Will Barton, Jeff Green, Aaron Gordon and Nikola Jokic. The Golden State Warriors started with Jordan Poole, Klay Thompson, Andrew Wiggins, Draymond Green and Kevon Looney.

Game Summary

With the opening tip, Nikola Jokic took the mission upon himself to take his team to a win. He went off for 18 points in the single quarter to propel his team. This took the Warriors by surprise yet they went with their offensive plan but struggled as the rest of thr Nuggets focusses on the defensive end.

They continued their onslaught coming into the next quarter but this time, coming off the bench, Bones Hyland started his attack. In the 3rd quarter, Klay Thompson got his shots going in from beyond the arc. He made 3 of his 3s and continued to torch the defense. Curry and Green supported him with their own attacks. However, they weren’t able to contain the Nuggets offence. Both Jokic and Morris carried the offense in the 3rd quarter to make sure they don’t fall behind.

In the 4th quarter, Curry flipped his switch on and he started his marksmanship, shooting from wherever he wants. The Nuggets were not fazed by this and they continued to attack.
